The New York Times reported on Thursday that a hot yoga spot on the Upper West Side was undergoing a makeovers, in a bid to attract more tourists to the area.

The Upper West Sider was named the new Hot Yoga Spot, a title that would seem to be appropriate considering it was recently named the best yoga spot by Yoga Magazine.

The location is a former laundromat, with its iconic “V” in the shape of a yoga mat, in the midst of the area known as the “Hot Zone.”

The spot is located at 545 Fifth Ave., in the Upper East Side.

The Yoga Magazine article said the renovations are part of the city’s efforts to lure more tourists, and that the new space will have an extensive library, gym, and spa, as well as a hot tub and sauna.

The renovation is scheduled to be complete in June 2019, according to a source familiar with the project.
